Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Dee Miller ("I", "me", "my"), based in Dallas, Texas, collects through iamdeemiller.com (the "Site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. I keep collection to what is needed to answer you, deliver what you ask for, and run the Site.

1. Information You Give Me

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and message.
  • Discovery call booking: the service you are interested in, your preferred date, time, and call length, your name, email address, optional phone number, and any message you add.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Digital business card: if you use the contact form on my card page, your name, email address, optional phone number, and message.
  • Purchases and invoices: when you buy an e-book or pay an invoice, payment is handled by Stripe. I receive your name, email address, and the amount paid. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never sent to or stored by me.

2. Information Collected Automatically

  • Analytics: the Site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the Site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location.
  • Server logs: my hosting provider automatically records standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to keep the Site secure and running.
  • Spam protection: some forms include hidden checks to block automated spam. My card page keeps a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for up to one day to limit repeated submissions; the actual address is not stored.
  • Browser storage: the Site remembers in your own browser whether you have already seen its welcome popup, so it is not shown again.
  • Fonts: the Site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google when a page loads.

3. How I Use Your Information

  • To reply to your messages and schedule and confirm discovery calls.
  • To deliver what you purchase, such as e-book download links, and to send invoices and payment receipts.
  • To send occasional updates you signed up for.
  • To keep business, tax, and payment records.
  • To understand and improve the Site, and to protect it from spam and misuse.

4. How Information Is Shared

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with the service providers that help me run the Site and my business, and only as needed for their service:

  • Hostinger — website hosting and business email.
  • Stripe — payment processing for purchases and invoices.
  • Google — website analytics (Google Analytics) and fonts (Google Fonts).

I may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect my rights, the Site, or the safety of others.

5. How Long I Keep Information

Messages, booking requests, and card-page inquiries are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless we work together. Records connected to a client engagement, payment, or dispute are kept for up to 7 years for tax and legal purposes. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask me to delete your information sooner at any time (see section 7).

6. How I Protect Information

The Site uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Information you send is stored in private locations that are not publicly accessible, with access limited to me. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Access, correction, and deletion: email me to ask what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
  • Unsubscribe: you can unsubscribe from updates at any time by replying or emailing me.
  • Analytics: you can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Depending on where you live, including Texas, you may have additional privacy rights. I will respond to verified requests within 45 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.

10. Website Ownership

This website and all of its content, including code, design, text, and images, are the property of Dee Miller and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
